Oscar de la Renta, Costa Mesa

In February 2008, Daniel DeMarco and Associates completed a brand new retail store in Costa Mesa, CA for iconic fashion designer Oscar de la Renta. Over the span of two months, the DDMA team worked closely with the designer to establish the needs of the client and the project specifications. However, as with any job, changes and challenges arose as things progressed. Faced with design alterations, stringent handicap codes, and intricate electrical wiring within the fixtures, we had to ensure that each obstacle was overcome quickly and efficiently.

In the end, installation was completed in only eight days and the job was a success on multiple levels. We engineered and created all original fixtures, including a multi-material product combining wood, metal, glass, and leather. We also implemented a rapid production schedule, coordinated long distance shipping, and executed a quick and professional installation by working cooperatively with the other trades on-site. The end result was an elegant and unique retail environment. And best of all, our work on this project has led to future development with the client, including the upcoming Oscar de la Renta store in Madrid.
