Dan is the founder of DDMA. He is involved with client relations on a daily basis, and is particularly proud of the close relationships he has developed with his clients over the years. Dan's internal responsibilities include overseeing sales and marketing, bookkeeping, and the overall financial status of the company. Dan began his career as a cabinet maker with partner Charlie DeTillio in California in 1979. He later became a detailer/draftsman. The high quality that our clients have come to expect from DDMA is a direct result of Dan's philosophy of meeting and exceeding the client's expectations. In his free time, Dan likes to spend time with his wife, grandkids and his horse (sometimes not in that order!).

Eileen has been a part of our team since 2007, and is currently our Head Bookkeeper. Prior to her arrival at DDMA, Eileen worked for a major architectural firm as their Director of Administration. After taking some time off to have her kids, she returned to work at a firm specializing in real estate and electrical work. In addition to her responsibilities there as a bookkeeper, she also acted as a liaison between the company and their CPA and lawyer. Eileen particularly likes the fact that, in her department, she can be involved in a project from its inception through to completion. When not in the office, she enjoys camping, boating, reading and spending time with her large extended family.

"Chache" has been with us since 2010, and is currently an Estimator. He started working for DDMA part-time while he completed his degree in Fine Arts at FIT in New York. Initially, Chache worked on the truck, but he gradually became involved with installing our work. Upon completion of his degree, he came to work for us full time. Chache has estimated several important projects for us over the years, including the Polo Bar in New York City and the NBA flagship store; also in New York. His hobbies include photography (he took the photos of his co-workers that you see on our website), German cars (he has owned a number of Audi's), working-out, mountain-biking and music of all types.

Mike has been with us since 2007, and is an Estimating Manager. Prior to receiving his B.S. in Economics from Siena College, Mike worked in construction framing houses, etc. Upon completion of his degree, he obtained a job with a New York based general contracting firm as a Job Super. He worked for this company for a short while before Dan (who was Mike's neighbor) asked him to join the DDMA team, with the intention of having him eventually assume the role of Estimator. Like several other members of our team, Mike familiarized himself with various aspects of the company by starting first on the truck and assisting on installations. He then worked side-by-side with Dan to learn the intricacies of estimating, with the goal of assuming a leadership role in the department. The first large-scale job that Mike estimated, was for the Polo Ralph Lauren flagship in Greenwich,CT. This proved to be the first of many projects he would work on for this very important client. Others he worked on for Polo include the 888 and 867 Madison Avenue, N.Y.flagships, as well as the retailers newest flagship located at 711 Fifth Avenue. The aforementioned project was the largest we've ever done and involved the use of rare materials; including reclaimed wood throughout the space (ceilings, floors and walls). All told, the project took a year to complete, and was Mike's "pride and joy." When not in the office, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife Dana and his three sons, Reid, James and Brian .

Joe has been with us since 2000, and currently works in Business Development. He began his tenure at DDMA as our truck driver. As he had a strong foundation in woodworking, construction and installation (his father has his own business relative to the three), Joe shortly made the transition into project management; initially assisting Dennis Locher on several projects. Joe's first solo job as a Project Manager was for a reception desk in New York City. During his time as a Project Manager/Senior Project Manager, Joe worked on stores for several high-profile clients including Christian Dior, Oscar de la Renta and John Varvatos. He was also the Senior Project Manager for the work we did on Ralph Lauren's New York residence. In addition, Joe spent some time estimating for us over the years. When not in the office, he is an avid golfer and enjoys millwork construction (he recently did the kitchen in his own home, and is about to begin his brother's kitchen). Joe has a deep appreciation for art and design (he studied fine arts in college), as well as odd winter sports (i.e. he takes part in the annual U.S. National Tobogganing Championship every year).

Dano officially started working for us full-time in 2009; however, he grew up helping out on installs during the summer and on weekends while attending high school and college. When he came on-board, the plan was to have him work in each department, so as to learn the various facets of the business and ultimately grow into his current position as an Associate and General Manager. After one year of doing just that, Dano became involved with project management, assisting on several jobs which included Escada, Boston; Polo, Greenwich and Christian Dior, Beverly Hills. He also spent a period of time in Estimating. During the time he has been with us, Dano counts the Christian Dior, Beverly Hills project as one of his favorites. Its sheer size, the level of difficulty involved in fabricating and installing our work, as well as the amazing design of the store as a whole is indeed impressive. It is Dano's goal to always be mindful of not only the immediate, but also the long-term future of DDMA. In an effort to ensure longevity, he works in conjunction with the Operations and Sales departments in order to achieve this end. And because a company cannot thrive without the right people in place, he works to ensure that we are staffed accordingly. When not in the office, Dano loves to travel, and counts South Africa as his favorite destination (he honeymooned there with his wife and would love to go back one day. In fact, his dream job would be to own a safari lodge in the African bush!). He loves to play golf, baseball (he played in college) and watch professional and college football (he is a season ticket holder at Clemson University...go Tigers!). Dano and his wife Kristen are also the proud parents to their daughter, Olive Grace, and dog, Tomlin (after the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers).

Upon completion of her degree, Stephanie was promoted to a position in logistics, where she specialized in coordinating deliveries for roll-out fixture programs to multiple stores throughout the country. This position ultimately lead to her current role as Executive Assistant to Dennis Locher. In addition to assisting Dennis, Stephanie is now an Associate at DDMA. Rob has been part of the team since 2011, and is currently a Project Executive. Prior to joining us, he worked in heavy construction. Rob has worked on several projects for us over the past few years, but like many members of our team, he is most proud of his involvement in the Polo Ralph Lauren flagship on 711 Fifth Avenue in New York. This project involved--not only the retail space--but also the Polo Bar; both of which DDMA and Rob had a hand in. The sheer scale of the project (the entire space totals 38,000 square feet) and its use of reclaimed wood on every surface was unprecedented for us. Rob was involved in every aspect of the installation of our work; which took nine months to complete. Outside of work, Rob enjoys spending time with his wife Ali and his four kids; Owen, Kaylee, Ella and Macie.

George has been with us since 2011, and is one of our project executives. Prior to working for DDMA, he was a project/production manager at a millwork company that specialized in high-end retail work, as well as trade show displays. Since the tender age of five, George has had a love of building things; hence his interest in woodwork/millwork. In his spare time, George enjoys going to the gym and spending time with his wife and two daughters.

Lahna has been a part of our team since 1997, and is currently a Project Executive. She received her B.A. in Interior Design from NYIT, and actually first met Dan when they worked together at a design firm in Roslyn Heights, NY. Dan ultimately left that firm and established DDMA, but after a few years in business, he invited Lahna to become a part of his team. When Lahna began with the company, her responsibilities were varied and included hand sketching design concepts during meetings with clients, drafting and design development. She was with the firm from the inception of our relationship with Polo Ralph Lauren...a relationship that continues to flourish to this day. In fact, she vividly remembers that on her third day on the job, she began work on a series of Polo Jeans stores (twelve, to be exact!). A number of other retail projects for Ralph Lauren ensued; all of which included Lahna as an integral part of the team. They included the Polo flagship store in Atlanta, GA (which Lahna recalls was quite challenging, due to the storefronts we created for the exterior of the building); Greenwich, CT; and the Polo Rugby Store at University Place in New York (a particular challenge here was the vestibule, which called for the use of steel, glass and wood). One of Lahna's earliest projects was for Ralph Lauren's executive office; a project that she worked on with Dennis. When not in the office, she enjoys biking, going to the gym and spending time with her family.

Rich is one of the newest additions to our team, having started with us as a Project Manager in late 2014. He began his career in the industry as a draftsman. A nine year career in carpentry followed, after which he began working as a Project Manager for a New York based construction company that specialized in commercial, residential and corporate projects. In the short time that Rich has been with us, he has been involved in some important work; including the H. Stern flagship in New York and--most recently--the phase one renovation of Bergdorf Goodman in New York. Rich's interests include hockey, martial arts and kickboxing. During the warmer months, you can find him spending his spare time on his boat.

Chris started with DDMA in 2008; while simultaneously attending school to become a draftsman. He thus began his tenure with us in the Drafting department, but now works as a Project Manager. Chris has been involved in a number of high-profile projects for us, including the Van Cleef and Arpels flagship store in New York, as well as the Polo Ralph Lauren flagship store and Polo Bar, located at 711 Fifth Avenue; also in New York. When not in the office, Chris loves to spend time with his wife and two daughters. He is also a volunteer firefighter in Amityville and just fulfilled the requirements to become a dive team captain on the force. Anything "outdoorsy" is fun for Chris. He is particularly fond of skiing, hunting, fishing and sailing.

Prior to joining our team, he was a Project Manager at a New York based store fixture company alongside Charlie DeTillio and Gil D'Orazio. When Charlie and Gil joined DDMA, they brought Mike along with them. He has managed quite a number of projects for us over the years, including several Tommy Hilfiger locations, the Brian Atwood flagship in New York, as well as roll-outs for Jones New York Sport and shop-in-shops for Calvin Klein.
